Lead Discovered Near Jacques Bridge

Field Note - Lead Deposits near Jacques Bridge Captain, Reporting a matter of possible supply value. Recent flooding has cut the banks along several stretches of the river near Jacques Bridge, and the exposed ground shows multiple deposits of lead. We observed the first slightly east of the Overrun Rear Guard, in the dry riverbed before the ground falls toward the Marette River. Further deposits appear if one follows the Marette River north, in the dry bed immediately south of the encampment know as the Forlorn Hope, where the waters have likewise cut away the banks and exposed the stone beneath. Another showing lies roughly one hundred paces east of the Smith of the Underbridge, again where the river has stripped the soil from the banks. The deposits appear close to the surface and may be workable with minimal excavation. - Corporal’s report, forwarded for your attention.
