Is Bodycam broken for you? Tap what's failing
One tap, no account. Reports are how the next player finds out whether it's their connection or the servers.
Reporting needs JavaScript.
We store the category and the time. Your IP address is never stored: it's hashed with a secret and today's date only to stop one person filing fifty reports, and the hash can't be reversed or matched to you tomorrow.
Reports, last 24 hours
Players per hour, UTC3 players have reported a problem in the last 24 hours, peaking at 1 in a single hour. Each person counts once per hour, however many times they tap.

Incident history
Logged automatically from player reports over the last 30 days. An incident is a run of hours with at least six different players reporting in each. Repeat taps from one person count once an hour.

Is it the servers, or your lobby's host?
Bodycam matches run on a player's machine, not on dedicated servers. When a match freezes or ends early, the usual cause is the host leaving or dropping. The V0.8 "Locked & Loaded" update added host migration so most matches carry on with a new host, but it doesn't cover every mode or a match that has already ended.
A real outage looks different: many players reporting "Server connection" or "Matchmaking" at the same time, and the Steam player count falling. Reissad posts fixes and known issues on theBodycam Steam news page, in theofficial Reissad Studio Discord and on@ReissadStudio on X.
Bodycam error codes and crashes
If Bodycam won't connect
- Check the reports above. A spike of "Server connection" or "Matchmaking" reports from many players means it isn't your setup; waiting is the fix.
- Try another lobby. Matches are player-hosted, so a single bad host can fail while everything else works.
- Restart the game and Steam. Invites and matchmaking go through your Steam session, and a stale one is a common cause of failures.
- Verify the game files. In Steam: right-click Bodycam, Properties, Installed Files, Verify integrity of game files. Worth doing after every patch.
Questions
›Is Bodycam down right now?
No problems reported. No player reports in the last 15 minutes.
›Does Bodycam have dedicated servers?
Matches are hosted by a player. Since the V0.8 "Locked & Loaded" update, a host migration system keeps a supported match going when the host leaves, though not once the match has ended. So one lobby dropping is usually its host, not a Bodycam-wide outage. Many reports at once in "Server connection" or "Matchmaking" point to something bigger.
›Why can I not play with my friends in a party?
Reissad held the party system back from the V0.8 update because it was not stable enough to release, and said it is being rebuilt on a new connectivity layer. Until it ships, queueing together is limited. Wingman is solo queue only for now.
›Does Bodycam have anti-cheat?
Not yet. Reissad said anti-cheat integration is well underway but was kept out of V0.8 so it could launch properly. A later patch fixed an exploit that let players crash others remotely, and the studio said it banned the players abusing it.
›Is there an official Bodycam server status page?
We have not found one. Reissad Studio posts updates and patch notes on the Bodycam Steam news page, the official Reissad Studio Discord and @ReissadStudio on X. None of those shows live status, which is why this page counts player reports.
›Why does my match end or kick me back to the menu?
The most common cause is the host leaving or losing connection. Host migration covers most modes now, but not every one. If it happens in every match, verify the game files in Steam (right-click Bodycam, Properties, Installed Files, Verify integrity) and restart Steam.
›Does Steam maintenance affect Bodycam?
Steam runs routine maintenance on Tuesdays. Signing in, invites and matchmaking through Steam can fail for a few minutes while it's running.
›How does this page decide there is an outage?
It counts different players who tapped a report button in the last 15 minutes. Three or more reads as "a few reports", twelve or more as a likely outage. Repeat taps from one person count once.
