Errors and Fixes

Each entry says what you see, whose problem it is, and what players have tried, with how well each fix is backed up. Seeing something that is not here? Post it on theserver status page. If we have an entry for the code or message you quote, we will point you to it.

Work that out before trying fixes. If the servers are the problem, verifying files or reinstalling will not help, and the only useful thing to know is whether it is happening right now. The live status page shows how many players are reporting problems at the moment.

Nothing on your PC fixes these. Check the status page to see whether it is happening right now.

Cause not confirmed yet

The reports do not say yet whether it is your setup or the servers. Each page lists what players tried and how well it worked.

How these are graded

Every entry and every step carries a label. Confirmed means the developer or an official channel said so, or enough players independently agree that there is no real doubt. Reported means a credible source says so, such as a thread other players back up, but nothing official. Unconfirmed means one player said it and nobody has backed it up yet. A list of ten fixes with equal confidence wastes your evening, so we say which is which.

Enginefall is in playtest, so these errors come from the June demo and the September playtest. Each page says when it was last checked and links the thread or post it comes from.
