Enginefall "Server Travel Timeout" when joining a raid
What you see
You get past the tutorial, but when you try to go on the first raid you see a "Server Travel Timeout" message. Matchmaking starts but you cannot join any raids, and the same error comes up.

The game times out when it tries to send you into a raid. Two players hit it in June, and one said it seemed to happen when filling a squad with random players.

Try going in solo instead of filling a squad with random players
A player on r/Enginefall said it seems to happen when trying to fill a squad of randoms, and suggested going in solo. Nobody confirmed that it worked.

What we know and don’t
On 10 June a player posted that after getting through the tutorial, every attempt to go on the first raid ended in a “Server Travel Timeout” message. A second player said they had the same situation and had not managed to join a raid once. A third suggested going in solo, since it seemed to happen when filling a squad with random players. Nobody reported that this fixed it, and there was no reply written as the studio.
These reports come from the June demo. We have not found reports of this on the September playtest build, so it may not affect it. If you are seeing it now, post what you see on the server status page.
