The maniac

Hugo

Backstory

A distinguished and loyal officer in Napoleon's army until he vanished during the disastrous retreat from Moscow. Hugo reappeared in Paris years later, a very different man. Free of his titles, rank, faith, and morals, he embraced a life at the margins of the society he once ruled. A reckless disregard for his own life mixed with a joie de vivre only achieved when hanging between life and death makes Hugo a deadly presence to friend and foe alike.

Outfits

Prestige I: Mad King

Legendary

He comes crowned, but not as any sovereign men would kneel to. The gold glints in the smoke, the mask hides all but the eyes. His cloak drags through the dirt, frayed and bloodied, and the spikes on his shoulders catch torchlight like a porcupine of steel.

Prestige II: Penitent

Legendary

Hugo fights stripped to the waist, his body marked with devotional scars and crude symbols cut into the skin. A crown of thorns is bound tightly around his brow, the barbs turned inward so that each movement drives them deeper and draws fresh blood.
